Updates and nostalgia

Hello, folks! So a quick update on the whole "angry toilet god" situation. I was out of my room two more nights while my carpet dried and then had the lovely pleasure of putting my room back together, ONLY to be tossed out three more nights and have it completely disorganized again when the carpet guys came to replace the padding. They tossed a majority of my clothes out of my closet, carelessly threw my shoes out of their way and pushed all of my furniture up against a wall. Grrr... If you ask me, it should've been their job to put everything back, but of course, that became my job today. I think I'll be paying homage to all of the house gods from now on. I refuse to be tossed out of my room again!

My sister Paige (on the left) attended her final dance of high school, Senior Ball, last weekend. I was honored, excited and pretty scared when she asked me to do her hair that night. She has been pretty unhappy with how it was done in the past, and it has sent her into teary fits. BUT I think I did a pretty good job... you can't see it, but it had a little french knot twist in the back. If I had the luxury of time and money, I would TOTALLY go to beauty school after I earn my degree.

And, of course, since posting always makes me all misty-eyed and nostalgic, I've been reflecting on my own Senior Ball. In my group of friends, we were lucky enough to have 4 girls and 4 guys so it always worked out nicely for dances. It was a blast.
