Unproductive No More!

Hi peeps... sorry we've been MIA for a while. To be honest... after school ended, I was BURNED OUT. I spent the last few weeks really not doing much of anything (not proud to admit it), but now I've had enough and we're back in the game! What this means for this post is that it will be LONG. Feel free to turn back at anytime, but there are some pretty cute pics coming up!

Colbie {8 months}


Look at those cheeks!!!!


Colbie is getting to the point where she is getting less cautious about other kids and wants to play with them! On this day she was playing "tea party" with her cousins Ava and Carter.



She is getting to be quite the little girl! She loves playing with Mommy's make up bag (or anything else that Mommy has first...). She is also getting very mobile and quick. About five minutes after this picture was taken, she rolled just quick enough and rolled right off the couch! She was fine, just very surprised.

The child loves to be free in a diaper. Unfortunately, she has now figured out how to pull the tabs and wriggle out of the diaper, so she is diaper naked a lot less often than she would like.


This little girl is a ham! Anytime someone approaches her she loves to pull this pose, act bashful, and totally flirts with her admirer. She has developed a little stranger danger and is definitely a Mama's girl, except for when Daddy comes home for lunch... Then she is glued to his side!


To The Zoo!
We went to the Hogle Zoo last week with Nana and cousins Lincoln, Cooper, and Brynn. It was a lot of fun, but unfortunately all of the kids were slightly cranky.... We'll have to do a do-over!

At the entrance... This was the look on Colbie's face the whole time. Seriously, I could not get this kid to smile.


The elephants were awesome! The last time I was there, they were bunched in a corner and I didn't get to see the baby. Colbie wasn't as impressed.


Proof I was there with her... She and I have so few pictures together, I'm trying to make an effort to get more!


Apparently the elephants were the only animals that Colbie wanted to see... She slept for the rest of the time and woke up when we were leaving!


That's about all to report! We're just gearing up for the big move to Salt Lake in August, so the name of our game right now is simplify so that packing will be easier in a few weeks.
