The big announcement...

I'm engaged.

Gasp.

Well... technically, I'm unofficially officially engaged. I don't have a ring yet. But we have a date (December 20th), and caterer (shameless plug for Hamilton's) and I MIGHT have a dress. But no ring. Well, we've picked one. We're just waiting.
It was one of those things that calling each other a boyfriend or a girlfriend just didn't seem to do it for us. It wasn't enough. So... we figured, Heck! We've got a date, we're planning, let's say we're engaged and be done with it.
I promise, BIG PICS when the ring finally is here. I'm anxious to get the first big step (ring) out of the way.

Just a pic to give you an idea of what my ring looks like...



Pretty much similar, white gold, and solitaire round diamond. The only really big difference is that this is a tension setting and mine is not. Tension settings made me nervous. I felt the need to ask the salesmen if the diamonds ever pop out. Pretty much sure he laughed at me later.
