Random Musings...

Topic #1:
So let's get the big news out of the way, we are moving into our house this week! My mom and stepdad officially take ownership of it on Thursday, so we will be celebrating the Fourth of July fireworks from our back porch. Lovely stuff! The Parade of Homes was last week, and while there were some "ghastly" furniture items brought in, there are several things, including the theater seating in our home theater, that we are praying they forget to take out. If you're feeling bored on Thursday, come join in the fun!
Topic #2:
You know how shortly before and then after you graduate from high school you get asked all the same questions? Over and over again? Well, I'm feeling kind of that way with Elder Cutler's release date just two weeks away. So... let me pull a technique from my buddy Zoolander and answer your questions with another question- has anyone ever heard of dating? :o) As flattered as I am that everyone thinks I'm ready to be married and all that jazz that is expected, there's this thing that people do to get to know each other. They talk about likes and dislikes (refer to the definition in Enchanted). I'm really not annoyed, it just surprises me how many people forget about that important little step.
Topic #3:
I miss my Bubba! Erin, Evan and Lincoln moved a week ago tomorrow, and already I'm dying to get out there to see them! As tired as I was when I visited them or they visited us, I absolutely loved staying up til two in the morning rocking him to sleep. Now if he turns into a little terror at the age of 2, I may not be missing him so much as feeling pity for my sister, but for now, I'm just counting down the days until I see the Aamodts again.
Topic #4:
Changed my major! I am officially in the Interior Design program at Utah State University. So excited to be there, and I'm feelin' really good about making this decision for sure permanent. Unfortunately, this means I'll be in school for another four years (yuck!) but it'll so be worth it!
